,
I bought a laptop (ASUS VivoBook Ultra 14 Core i3 11th Gen) from Flipkart on 10th May 2021 with one year of onsite warranty support. Recently, the keyboard of the laptop was malfunctioning. I contacted customer support for the same and they registered my complain with an ASUS authorized service centre. They sent an engineer at my home and he did all diagnosis (as per his claim) and handed over the laptop and said IT IS FIXED. I cross verified and found that the problem is persistent. When I asked him to fix it again he said it must be formatted and keyboard will work fine. I asked the engineer how to back up data he replied ?I don?t know.? Then with the help of internet I formatted the laptop but the problem was still there. Then I contacted service centre again they said they will pick my laptop and then service it. I asked them about the onsite warranty policy then they replied ?If you want us to fix it then send the unit?. They took my laptop forcefully because I had no option. Suddenly, they told me that it is liquid damage and will not be cover under warranty. The head of the service centre was extremely rude and I complaint against him to their seniors but none of them took any action. The service centre executive misbehaved with me on conference call with a senior from ASUS. But they did not take any action. The laptop was damaged by the engineer while picking up to the service centre. He seemed to be very unqualified engineer. Over multiple request to the senior authorities no one is taking up my problem and they are always asking for money. I have been cheated by ASUS with their tiring service processes and also by the rude and unprofessional service centre executive. They damaged my laptop with their carelessness The details of service centre is as below: ASUS Authorized Service center TVS Electronics Ltd. NIT-5 Faridabad Email: novatta.fbd@gmail.com I also Contacted the following email Ramesh_Chand@asus.com backend.nehruplace@tvs-e.in Sneha_G@asus.com Anita_Dsouza@asus.com sanjeet.dey@tvs-e.in I told them multiple times about this issue but they are asking money to repair it. If the laptop is damaged by the service centre then why should I pay for it? Please help me I am very tired of complaining them every day and replying to their emails. I need my laptop in original condition
